Purpose
How a gift helps
A gift of property or equipment becomes useful to people only after it is reviewed, accepted and responsibly stewarded.
Accepted gifts may be retained for approved charitable use or responsibly disposed of. Approved resources may support CommissaryGrant.com programs in the areas below.
Commissary assistance
Basic hygiene, food and everyday necessities that are otherwise purchased out of pocket.
Books and reading
Access to reading material, which is often the first step back toward study and work.
Education
Coursework and learning support that continues during and after release.
Family connection
Keeping people connected to their families, which is one of the strongest predictors of a stable return home.
Reentry
Practical preparation for the first months after release, when small gaps cause large setbacks.
What we will not claim
We do not state that all proceeds, a fixed percentage or any guaranteed amount supports Commissary Grant, and we do not publish impact figures, completed-gift counts or program distributions. Allocation is governed by policy, and specific figures will appear here only when that policy and its supporting documentation are in place.
